I Need to Cool It

Tuesday, September 8, 2009

I went a little nuts with yesterday's rant about TenTonHammer. Looks like the video is back up and is only 22 minutes long. All hints indicate it was merely a problem with how the video was posted to their site. I don't know for sure, but despite my tirade, I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt. It's the least I can do. Still, being wrong about this case doesn't invalidate my logic - I just hope nobody will be shortsighted in the manner I wrongfully accused TenTonHammer of being.

I thought you made a good point; heck, I even thought maybe they released it to the public to build up buzz and then put it as "subscriber only" to lure people into subscriptions. Heck, your ranting and the release of the video to YouTube may have actually been the reason they re-released it. We don't know because as far as I've seen they didn't post why it was unavailable.

I seriously doubt I have that kind of influence. I have no idea the number of hits my blog gets but surely not enough to sway a website on the scale of TenTonHammer to immediately change a decision. The YouTube release of the vids might be a contributing factor if we assume the "blocking" of the content was intentional.

yeah I think they just noticed it was a flub themselves, still its good that you reported on it. "If enough good people do nothing..."
